Job Title/Position: Valet Manager

Company Overview:
Wasatch Peaks Ranch is developing and building a new private mountain resort community located in the Wasatch Mountains 30 minutes north of Salt Lake City. The development encompasses 12,000 acres including 3,000 acres of private ski terrain; a Tom Fazio-designed private golf course; and 460 private homes and homesites being developed under a multi-phase 10–15-year buildout. This multi-billion-dollar project will offer the most exclusive array of skiing, golf, and a variety of other amenities in a private club setting in the United States.
Job Summary/Essential Functions:
Oversees the valet department and works closely with concierge, member services, and club staff to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience.
Job Duties:
Creates training and safety manuals for valet and oversees implementation of such practices.
- Creates department operating standards intended to ensure a high level of service to members and guests. Ensures operating standards are being followed by each team member.
- Manages daily operations ensuring appropriate staffing levels. Coordinates additional coverage as needed for high occupancy periods or staffing challenges.
- Manages hiring process from application review to interview and hire for line level valet staff.
- Ensures a positive work environment for all team members and focuses on retaining high performing staff.
- Works with team members to facilitate job success. Manages any behavior issues as well as rewarding progress and performance.
- Schedules valets according to business levels and event volume.
- Handles punch edits and oversees PTO for valet staff.
- Conducts training for valets, including driver training and testing.
- Monitors driving records on an annual basis by requesting a driver's license background check from HR.
- Ensures other club departments understand the hours, operations, and duties of valet.
- Works with other club departments to ensure proper communication and policies are followed.
Licenses and Special Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- No moving violations or minor incidents within the past three years and no major incidents (e.g., DUI) within the past five years.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Able to bend over to enter and exit vehicles of various sizes and heights.
- Able to quickly park and retrieve autos from parking area.
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
- Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.
- Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.
- Frequent repetitive motions.

Education/Experience:
- 4-year college degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience as valet in a five-star environment.
