Our client is seeking a Director of Sales for a contemporary loungewear, sleepwear, intimate apparel and swimwear line. This is a strategic, operational, and influential role reporting in a GM of the brand.
- The salary range is $175-180k plus a bonus
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement an appropriate commercial policy in the various territories and identify growth drivers (market evolutions and expectations)
- Manage and implement commercial policy
- Ensure accurate and regular reporting of the actions carried out
- Implement a sustainable KAM strategy
- Increase turnover in both Domestic (USA) and Export Markets
- Identify key players in priority markets and approach them to conquer new markets/customers and accelerate development, mainly internationally
- Collaborate closely with Product Merchandising for wholesale distribution
- Stimulate, train, and motivate the network by setting up sales support tools (sell-in and sell-out) as well as Marketing and Communication actions (presence at trade fairs, special operations/packaging, etc.)
- Establish and monitor budgets
- Hold responsibility of the Wholesale P&L and the achievement of the departments results
- Monitor key accounts
- Managethe national sales force in all markets
- Manage US key accounts
- Lead, motivate, and manage the team
- Set up tools to manage the activities
Required Qualifications:
- Long-standing Sales experience ideally in the lingerie, intimates, loungewear or swim sector, with P&L responsibility
- Proven experience in a comparable sales role
- International sales experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Structured, conceptual working style combined with a proactive attitude and hands-on mentality
- Strong negotiation skills
- Professional communication and social skills
- Fluency in English; any other languages are an advantage (French)
- Ability to travel to clients, tradeshows, and Europe (approximately 50%)
