About the Company:
LHH is working with one of the largest U.S. suppliers of safety products, and a leading U.S. supplier of ammonia products and process chemicals. They are looking for an experienced Account Manager with a strong focus on New Business Development to join their growing, stable organization in Louisville, KY. This role will primarily target industrial metal fabrication clients and will function at a divisional level, offering a unique opportunity to drive growth and make a significant impact.
About the Role:
Account Management: Manage 8-12 key accounts
New Business Development:
- 80% of your time to hunting for new business opportunities
- 20% to farming existing accounts
Collaboration: Work closely with the an internal team of experts in various product lines including fabrications, equipment, abrasives, lasers, and more.
Sales Cycle: Handle accounts from initiation to closure; accounts are retained long-term. Sales cycles may vary from 2-3 weeks for some solutions to several months for larger customers/projects.
Responsibilities:
Geography:
- Primarily within the Louisville, KY metro area
- Typical travel will be within 50 miles, with occasional travel up to 75-100 miles
- Clientele: Target industrial metal-fabrication clients primarily
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cold calling and business development
- Background in industrial sectors such as metal-fabrication, welding, safety, or gases
- Ideally 5+ years of relevant experience; however, significant experience and resilience to rejection are crucial
