Our client is looking for an on-site recruiter for their offices in Austin, Texas. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening and hiring candidates for the company. The Recruiter will be responsible for conducting initial interviews, working closely with the hiring manager, and helping to negotiate salaries in accordance with the company's job architecture for the role being filled.
Knowledge, Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to assist in creating recruiting processes
- Assist in the development and updating of job descriptions and specifications by collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements
- Attract suitable candidates
- Conduct candidate screening interviews
- Assess applicants’ knowledge, skills, and experience for the role
- Promote the company’s reputation and attractiveness to candidates
- Manage internship programs
- Keep up to date on current legislation related to recruitment
- Provide recruiting reports to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of and experience with varied Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
