JOB TITLE: Account Executive

POSITION PURPOSE:
- Generates new business and revenue through territory (Tallahassee, FL to Thomasville, GA) market surveys, market research, lead generation, sales leads, sales calls, follow-up, and networking within designated market segments. Consistently calling on new prospects and clients through outside sales; increasing staffing sales through the generation and development of new client accounts. Meeting or exceeding defined KPIs, metrics, and revenue results. Maintain current account information and competitive information within a designated market segment while maintaining current client relationships supporting excellent customer service.
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Survey assigned territories and market segments
- Meet or exceed KPIs and metrics for Surveys and Sales Calls
- Perform adequate or required prospect and client follow-up
- Stay informed on current staffing industry trends, the company business plan, budget and current goals, safety and risk management requirements, and human resource guidelines.
- Stay informed as to the current wage and hour requirements and market pricing for jobs
- Develop new business by following up on business leads from internal and external sources, generate staffing leads through prospecting and surveys and cold calling both in person and via telephone and other electronic media such as social networking techniques.
- Build and maintain a client contact database (CRM) and is responsible for maintaining the database and continually working the database.
- Accountable for meeting metrics established for personal contacts, marketing and telephone calls, appointments/sales calls, presentations, and proposals in attracting new business and increasing billable hours.
- Analyze existing accounts, competition, and market share in the designated market segment, generate viable client orders from new and inactive accounts as well as expanding services into other departments/service lines (Direct Hire, Workforce Solutions, etc. within existing accounts.
- Attend civic or professional organization meetings to develop leads and enhance interpersonal skills to develop strategy in proposing staffing and temporary workforce solutions
- Uses appropriate sales tools in the marketing effort to include, organizational and departmental profile, marketing calls report, marketing collateral, assignments, and job orders.
- Use the approved company contract in all new accounts, ensure that all requirements of the client are within the scope of the acceptable services, to include but not limited to risk management, site surveys, and uses appropriate releases to protect the Company’s liability.
- Regularly visits existing clients to ensure client satisfaction and safety of associates and verifies only the tasks within the appropriate job descriptions in the client contract are being performed.
- Enter finalized job orders with complete job descriptions, approved worker compensation rate requests, profitable Bill Rate ranges and any other necessary information needed for successful assignment of Associates to orders. The Account Executive is responsible for job order creation, pricing, securing the worker comp rate request approval, Worksite Safety Evaluation and any other component of the job order life cycle prior to submitting it to an Associate Recruiter for fulfillment.
- With Senior Vice President, manages all contract issues with client, working closely with the Legal and Safety and Risk Management departments.
- Becomes familiar with Recruiter functions to understand overall operational procedures; coordinates with Recruiting team and Branch Manager to ensure fulfillment of client job orders and staffing sales opportunities and educates the branch team members so they understand the client needs and culture.
- Review goals regularly to improve personal development, improve sales performance and increase market share within assigned territory.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
- 2+ years of professional experience in sales, customer service, or marketing
- Proven experience in cold calling and prospecting for new business and securing new accounts
- Staffing industry experience is preferred, transferrable or comparable industry may be considered
