Who You Are:
As the VP, Retail North America, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the North America full-price and outlet channels. You will also be responsible for managing Retail Operations, Retail Excellence and Visual Merchandising teams.
You are an executive that displays entrepreneurial thinking, strategic leadership, strong communication and is results driven. You thrive in a rapidly changing environment and have extensive luxury retail experience. You have proven success executing retail strategies, enhancing customer experiences, and driving sales growth across all retail platforms.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute business plans to maximize revenue and profitability of the Retail division, aligning it with the company's objectives and brand vision.
- Analyze and monitor KPIs within region to identify opportunities and coach management team to take action and achieve goals.
- Oversee the performance and profitability of the full price and outlet channels, ensuring consistent and exceptional customer service standards are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Merchandising, and Headquarters, to ensure effective coordination and implementation of retail initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to track the success of retail initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans accordingly.
- Partner with Marketing to develop and implement CRM and clienteling strategies, driving customer engagement and retention across the North America Region.
- Design and drive a clear operational excellence strategy to support the network development, ensuring accountability from Retail teams on VM and Merchandising implementations.
- Partner with Global Retail Excellence team to develop and implement training programs and guidelines to enhance the performance and capabilities of retail staff.
- Partner with Global Visual Merchandising team to execute floor sets and drive the visual identity of the store.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retail partners, vendors, and internal teams, to drive collaboration and achieve business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in luxury retail, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify future business needs and implement strategies to enhance brand performance.
You’ll Need to Have:
- 10 years of experience in a senior retail leadership role within the fashion luxury industry, with a strong focus on store and E-Commerce management.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving financial targets in a multi-channel retail environment.
- Extensive knowledge of luxury retail market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor landscape.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective retail strategies.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to travel as required to boutiques, outlets, and industry events within North America.
