Our client is in search of a Private Equity Analyst to bolster the firm’s transactional activities, with a secondary emphasis on portfolio management.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thesis-driven research by exploring market and industry landscapes, and synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations.
- Develop and maintain databases identifying potential acquisition targets for new platforms and add-on acquisitions.
- Prepare investment memoranda, financial data books, due diligence trackers, and other analyses crucial to supporting the transactional process.
- Establish and oversee data rooms and due diligence trackers.
- Opportunity to oversee due diligence workstreams and construct LBO, M&A, and financing models.
- Contribute to or aid in the creation of investor materials.
- Assist portfolio companies with ad hoc financial analysis.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or transaction advisory services.
- Profound understanding of accounting and finance.
- Exceptional proficiency in financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel regularly.
