What You’ll Be Doing
In your role as the Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating revenue by attracting and winning new customers and retaining current ones. Your ability to build value by developing new relationships and strengthening existing relationships with Configit’s clients will be key to your and the company’s success. With your solid enterprise software sales background, proven track record of engaging with enterprise clients, and strong business acumen, you understand the needs of Configit’s customers and can translate them into actionable business opportunities.
This role is based in Atlanta, GA. Travel of up to 50% is to be expected.
- Plan and drive the strategic sales cases according to the Configit-way-of-selling.
- Engage with potential enterprise customers through phone, email, and face-to-face meetings to create/strengthen interest in Configit and our solutions.
- Drive sales process towards closure, develop proposals, give presentations, negotiate prices, and stay focused throughout the entire sales process.
- Study and learn to become an expert in Configit’s value propositions, markets, competitors, etc. ongoing
- Coordinate internally with pre-sales, Professional Services (consultants) and other functions
- Administrative tasks – keep CRM system updated, provide reporting for sales management, etc.
What We Expect from You
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business or a related field
- 5-8 + years of relevant sales experience in selling complex software to large enterprise customers
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of time
Nice to Have:
- Solid experience and knowledge of PLM, configuration, and CPQ solutions
