Our client is currently looking for an HR Generalist who will be responsible for performing daily HR-related functions on a professional level including hiring and interviewing staff, performance management, compensation planning, employee relations, onboarding, and implementing company policies and practices.
Flexibility to work a hybrid work week - 3 days in office, 2 days remote
Responsibilities:
- Interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Facilitate new hire training and assimilation with hiring managers.
- Responsible for building and facilitating monthly HR Operations scorecard, including analysis of data and presentation to leadership.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Build great relationships with business leaders and managers to enable coaching and mentoring.
- Influence business decisions and workforce planning based on analyzing employee data and workload.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the system as needed.
- May serve as participant in HR strategic initiatives aligned to HR function’s annual book of work.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment required.
