Role Description
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating the mental health needs of their patient(s). This is achieved through the prescription and management of medication, brief psychotherapeutic interventions, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorally prepared Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
- Board Certification as a PMHNP
- Licensed PMHNP in Oregon
- Provides high-quality, comprehensive psychiatric care with sound clinical decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoys working as a member of an interdisciplinary team
