Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team at Allied. The ideal candidate will specialize in recruitment and training & development. The Director of Human Resources, will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations and implementing strategies to support the company's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of HR experience and a solid track record of growth in the field, as well as expertise in HR processes and best practices.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to attract top talent within the pre-engineered metal building industry or structural steel sector.
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify current and future staffing needs and develop proactive hiring strategies.
- Design and implement comprehensive training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Partner with senior management to assess organizational training needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment, training, and development.
- Lead and mentor the HR team to ensure efficient and effective execution of HR initiatives.
- Update, develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires.
- Lead employee relations initiatives, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR management and make recommendations for improvement.
- Lead HR metrics and analytics to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee employee relations through programs and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in HR leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Specialization in recruitment and training & development.
- Experience in the Pre-Engineered Metal Building industry, Structural Steel or Construction sector preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong understanding of industry-specific recruitment techniques and sourcing strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization and external partners.
- Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives and foster innovation.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Spanish both written and spoken is a required.
