Goodwill TalentBridge has teamed up with an industrial and agricultural manufacturer to hire an experienced Dealer Development Coordinator for their team!
What is the Position?
The Dealer Development Coordinator supports new initiatives aimed at enhancing end-user customer satisfaction through improved service, training, dealer engagement, and other strategies. The overall goal is to increase penetration within market shares. The Coordinator works closely with the organization’s service and distributor network to help execute the development strategy.
What are the Responsibilities? (Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:)
- Support the creation and development of the Dealer Development Department by establishing processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist in training and influencing the Distributor Network on Corporate and Dealer Development Strategy, including interactions with Distributor Dealer Development Staff.
- Manage dealer development projects such as market research, surveys, evaluations, and expansion initiatives.
- Oversee the dealer onboarding process and maintain accounts for assigned dealers and distributors, including the master dealer list, contracts, and locator.
- Enhance the Dealer Network by collaborating with the Distributor Network to strengthen dealer relationships and support department growth.
- Work with cross-functional departments to align and support Dealer Development initiatives. Consult with Distributors, Dealers, OEMs, and Management on network issues.
- Provide administrative support such as preparing presentation materials, maintaining records, creating documents, and managing reports.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards compliant with ISO-9001 standards to track distributor performance, including the KPI Scorecard, and provide regular updates to management.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
What are the Qualifications?
- Bachelor’s degree in business, business management, business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ Years experience in an independent dealer environment.
- 2+ Years previous experience in travel, visiting and calling on Dealers, Distributors, OEM’s or National/Direct Accounts.
- Skilled in communication, presentation, and collaboration with distributors, dealers, and stakeholders.
- Experienced in project coordination, dealer development, and business analytics; knowledge of engines and outdoor equipment is a plus.
- Focused on maintaining a customer-centric team effort and implementing consistent customer experiences.
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and project management tools. Familiar with industry trends, market dynamics, and various software including CRM, SAP, and SharePoint.
- Ability to travel up to 35% of the time, including short-notice trips.
What are the Benefits?
- Compensation based on experience: $70-85k
- Hybrid Schedule Mon - Fri 8:00am - 4:30pm
