Coleman & Rose is currently seeking a pro-active, highly motivated and organized residential A&D outside sales representative for the Midwest region based out of Chicago.
As a new position this individual will be responsible for driving sales servicing the residential A&D community. It will be imperative to maintain sales through consistent outreach with existing customers while simultaneously farming and germinating new opportunities, and maintaining diligent follow-up strategies to drive sales.
Successful candidates must reside in Chicago & be able to work out of their home, and call on customers throughout their assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
-Outreach goal of 14-16 appointments per week with key trade accounts in the Architecture & Design community
-Manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, tracking deadlines to ensure client expectations are met, including daily communication and follow-up across various accounts
-Self-manage individual performance against sales/required targets
-Keep dedicated client list (Book of Business) up-to-date with all new product and services that Coleman & Rose offers
-Focus on building a broad base of repeat customers
-Provide meticulous follow through on all projects throughout the entire sales cycle
-Generate quotes and sales orders for all clients & follow-up on all outstanding quotes to generate sales
-Provide clients with updates on sales orders and production schedules
-Keep active and up-to-date customer activity reports in Hubspot
-Territory will consist of day trips and travel in the Midwest
-Attend key industry events, participating in organizations that are going to broaden brand visibility in the A&D community and networking with non-competitive brands to source projects
-Network with the trade through involvement in associations, meetings and events (ICAA, ASID, DLN)
-Control expenses to deliver best Return-on-Investment (ROI) and maximize profit
-Deliver first-class service to all customers
Requirements:
-Strong problem solving skills with the ability to independently find solutions
-Commitment to quality and accuracy in all communications and deliverables
-Solid and proven work ethic and outstanding organizational skills
-Ability to appropriately handle confidential information and meet tight deadlines
-Experience in luxury sales with a proven record of exceeding targets
-Comfortability in creating and presenting effective, engaging sales presentations
-Strong MS office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Excellent written, verbal communication, and time management skills
