Our client is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to be based in the San Francisco East Bay. This candidate will be responsible for the sale of laboratory research instrumentation and related consumables into the biotechnology, academic, and pharmaceutical research facilities in the assigned territory. Additional responsibilities include managing existing accounts as well as gaining new business.
Requirements:
- B.S. in the sciences
- A plus - Life Science senior sales experience with a technical aptitude
- Will take someone OUT OF THE LAB with strong technical experience with ddPCR, RTPCR, QPCR, gene expression, western blot, genomics, etc.
- Desire to be in a customer facing role (i.e., interact with customers, prospect for leads, walk the halls of research facilities)
- Team player plus must have the ability to work independently
- Driven, passionate, with a desire to be in a Life Science sales role
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability for some overnight travel
- Based East of SF Bay
