Job Summary
As a Project Engineer for the Wastewater Solutions, you will play a crucial role in providing engineering and technical support. This position offers practical, on-the-job training aimed at enhancing your engineering skills. You will be primarily responsible for detailed design engineering on wastewater treatment projects within the Food & Beverage sector, specifically for facilities that manufacture dairy products. You will be an integral part of the process engineering team, contributing to the design and documentation of sophisticated wastewater treatment systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Team Collaboration and Leadership: Operate both independently and alongside the Lead Project Engineer to support project development, design, and management efforts.
- Project Scope: Work on a range of projects, with a primary focus on wastewater treatment and water reclamation systems tailored for the Food & Beverage industry.
- System Design and Development: Design advanced wastewater treatment systems, including anaerobic digesters, activated sludge systems, aerobic and anaerobic membrane bioreactors, dissolved air flotation units, biological and chemical nutrient removal processes, sequencing batch reactors, water reuse systems, and biogas energy recovery setups.
- Conceptual and Detailed Design: Create innovative design solutions for new wastewater treatment plants or upgrades to existing systems, ensuring compliance with client needs and environmental standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage environmental permitting processes
- Execute conceptual and detailed engineering designs
- Conduct engineering analyses and studies
- Develop budget estimates and provide firm pricing
- Software Skills: Proficiency in standard productivity software (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and experience with AutoCAD or 3D modeling is preferred.
- Project Delivery: Ensure that all projects are completed within the established timelines and budget constraints.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and handle time efficiently
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical thinking with a focus on strategic problem-solving
- Self-driven and highly motivated
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is required.
