Overview:
As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by managing client relationships and ensuring their personal insurance needs are met with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining client accounts, and collaborating closely with insurance carriers to secure the best coverage options for our clients.
Primary Duties:
- Serves as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their personal insurance policies. This includes but is not limited to change requests, process endorsements, collecting claim information and file appropriately. Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and claims, providing guidance and support throughout the claims process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and discuss, recommend, and implement insurance solutions to our clients. Conduct policy reviews and analysis to ensure clients have adequate coverage and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals accurately and in a timely manner. Re-market existing customers as needed. Assist in correcting unintentional policy cancelations.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in our agency management system.
- Provide back-up to other Account Managers as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Needed:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. P&C insurance license is preferred or must be obtained within 60 days of hire date.
