Director of Strategic Accounts
Our client in Glenwood, MN seeks a motivated Director of Strategic Accounts to lead sales growth by acquiring, retaining, and expanding key accounts. Expertise in B2B sales, relationship management, and strategic account development is required. The ideal candidate will mentor account managers and drive collaborative efforts to deliver tailored client solutions.
Position: Director of Strategic Accounts
Location: Glenwood, MN
Type: Full-time, Direct hire
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay: Starting at $100k and up based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Develop tailored solutions for strategic accounts, driving expansion and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Identify new business opportunities, upsell, cross-sell, and create strategic sales plans to exceed targets.
- Conduct market research, implement initiatives to enhance competitiveness, and optimize performance through KPI tracking.
- Mentor Account Executives, providing tools and training for success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product and service delivery.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and the ability to manage complex client relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and market analysis tools.
- Ability to travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and participate in trade shows.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, with 7+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
