LHH is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for a client of ours in the Dallas area. In this role, you will lead a small team, manage financial reporting systems, and interact with internal and external clients to drive financial performance and success. You will be responsible for overseeing month-end close processes, improving financial performance, and providing strategic financial insights.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and review month-end close entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Lead and develop a team of financial professionals, fostering a high-performance environment.
- Enhance monthly operating presentations for clarity and relevance to management and stakeholders.
- Analyze financial results, monitor variances, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve performance.
- Support strategic planning with financial insights, projections, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis.
- Manage financial and analytical initiatives to provide exceptional client support.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses for various business units and oversee budget planning processes.
- Develop complex financial models to support business development and client services.
- Regularly perform variance analysis between actual financial performance and budgeted targets, providing actionable insights.
- Communicate financial results and provide analysis and recommendations to clients.
- Interface with external vendors and clients to acquire and manage data sources.
- Collaborate with other departments on joint projects and share expertise through technical mentorship and cross-training.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, data management, financial modeling, and financial systems.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with SQL Server.
