Nurse Manager - Operating Room

This is a critical leadership position tasked with round-the-clock oversight of the surgical units. Focus:
- Manage the daily operations of the surgical units, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
- Implement and uphold high-quality patient care practices in accordance with departmental plans and organizational mission.
- Oversee financial and budgetary responsibilities associated with the surgical units' operations.
- Lead, guide, and evaluate the nursing staff, promoting professional growth and excellence.
- Work collaboratively with medical staff and other hospital managers to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Ensure the surgical services meet all regulatory and accreditation standards, including those set by CMS.
- Act as a representative of the organization, fostering positive relationships with families, visitors, and external partners.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or related field (candidates currently enrolled in such programs will also be considered).
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent preferred.
- 3-5 years of recent clinical experience in an Operating Room setting.
- Experience in a nursing leadership role preferred (1-2 years)
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop nursing staff.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of resolving problems and managing complex relationships.
- Knowledgeable in regulatory standards and committed to maintaining high clinical standards.
