We are seeking a dynamic Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team in Pennsylvania. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team and make a significant impact on their operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management: Oversee the Process Engineering and Continuous Improvement team, ensuring direction, coordination, and evaluation align with company goals.
- Continuous Improvement Techniques: Act as a resource for the organization, promoting the use of 6-Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and other improvement methods.
- Strategic Planning: Participate in site-wide planning, including capital management and inventory control, to drive site-wide improvements.
- Training & Development: Oversee the development and training of CI initiatives, facilitating special events to enhance plant performance and reduce waste.
- Engagement: Foster engagement with production personnel to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
- Financial Oversight: Collaborate with accounting to quantify, measure, and report cost savings and project expenditures, ensuring projects remain on budget.
- Communication: Effectively communicate company and department goals, achievements, and policies to all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required (engineering background highly desired).
- Experience: 6+ years in a manufacturing environment with hands-on experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives. Should have at least 3 years of Management experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Metals Manufacturing and melting experience (desired, not required).
- Ability to manage in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
- 6 Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Statistical knowledge and ISO9000 experience.
The company is offering a salary of $120,000 - $150,000, plus bonus.
