We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Vice President of Corporate Finance who possesses the leadership qualities necessary to serve as a successor to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of corporate finance principles, exceptional strategic planning skills, and a proven track record of driving financial performance and growth within a complex organizational structure. The candidate will also have comfort working in a PE-backed environment, with either previous private equity-backed company experience or working directly for a PE firm. This role will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategy of the company and ensuring its long-term financial health and sustainability.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
· Financial Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth plans.
· Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support informed decision-making and optimize resource allocation.
· Capital Management: Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to ensure optimal balance between risk and return. Support and lead communications with administrative agent, financial institutions, and credit investors quarterly and on an ad-hoc basis.
· Investment Strategy: Develop and evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic partnerships to support business expansion and enhance shareholder value.
· Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks across the organization, including market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks.
· Treasury Operations: Oversee treasury functions, including cash management, liquidity management, and foreign exchange risk management, to optimize cash flow and maximize returns on investments.
· Procurement Oversight: Support the execution a strategic procurement plan to optimize sourcing, supplier relationships, and cost savings.
· Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, investors, and financial institutions to support the company's financial objectives.
· Leadership and Development: Provide strategic leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop talent within the finance department, identifying and grooming potential successors for key leadership roles.
· Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards, promoting ethical conduct and accountability throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
· Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or financial management roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
· Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
