Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the investor relations program.
- Create and communicate value-focused messages that engage stakeholders and enhance market presence.
- Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and other senior leaders.
- Provide strategic insights and guidance on investor-related matters, influencing key decisions and corporate strategy.
- Ensure senior leaders are thoroughly prepared for investor interactions.
- Deliver compelling presentations and perform post-event analysis to continuously refine the approach.
- Analyze market trends and investor feedback.
- Constantly improve the investor relations strategy to maintain competitiveness.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Advise the CEO, CFO, and Board on investor relations strategy.
- Coordinate third-party service providers to boost the effectiveness of the IR function.
- Lead and support special projects in M&A, strategic planning, financing decisions, and cost of capital.
- Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis, including financial metrics and key messages.
- Develop and monitor performance metrics for the investor relations function.
- Assist with the production of annual reports, SEC filings, and proxy statements.
- Collaborate with corporate finance functions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Monitor industry research reports, providing analytical summaries for senior management and the Board.
- Develop and maintain an investor relations program focused on value-driven messaging.
- Build and maintain relationships with the investment community.
- Create presentations, scripts, press releases, and other communication materials for quarterly earnings and other investor presentations.
- Organize and execute conference calls with the investment community.
- Coordinate and participate in investor conferences.
- Prepare senior leaders for investor meetings and provide feedback and post-event analysis.
- Lead major investor-facing events like Investor Day and operational tours.
- Collaborate with HR, marketing, and other stakeholders on internal and external communications.
- Maintain an investor database (Nasdaq IR Insight) to capture interactions with the investment community.
- Establish the optimal mix of shareholders through targeted initiatives.
- Coordinate and participate in investor conferences.
- Provide feedback to management on the investment community’s perception of the company’s management, strategy, and financial results.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree/MBA preferred.
- CPA and/or CFA designation preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant financial experience, including treasury operations, capital markets, and/or business analytics.
- Experience in corporate finance, sell-side research, and/or buy-side asset management.
- Operational knowledge of Nasdaq IR Insight, Bloomberg, Workiva/W-Desk preferred.
- Professional presence and ability to interact with senior management, banks, research analysts, and investors.
- Experience working with all corporate levels, including executive management and external contacts.
- Advanced analytical and communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
- Knowledge of the industrial and business services sectors preferred.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Capital markets experience.
