Medical Center is currently seeking a full-time neurologist to join an established practice with a board-certified neurologist and with additional support from two NPs. Required call 7 days/month (one week/month). Salary is at mean of MGMA; plus a bonus of 100% of the practice profits. Hospital-owned physician practices-treat them as if the MD is the owner. They negotiate a salary based upon MGMA figures, which is paid to the physician monthly. At the end of the year, the physician receives 100% of the profits of the practice as he would if he owned the practice. They do not charge a fee for running the practices. As far as they know, They are the only hospital that operates this way. The physician also receives full benefits including paid malpractice, benefits package, relocation, CME allowance.
