We are retained by a multi-million dollar world leader in electromechanical systems with aerospace and defense to find a new Sales Executive. You will be responsible for growing the company’s sales in an allocated region. With intensive training and development from working on-site 5 days a week, fast-track and evolve your career into a Business Unit Manager, with eventual Vice President Progression likely.
Primary Responsibilities of the Sales Executive:
- Maintains and grows relationships with technical leaders, decision-makers, key senior-level personnel and influencers at key and targeted accounts. Develop and maintain sponsors within customer organizations throughout your region of responsibility.
- Participates in analyzing and determining market potential and sales estimates. Assists in developing marketing and pricing plans.
- Identifies and qualifies new business prospects in allocated region; develops, owns and executes strong strategies to win the new business, and improve sales performance through indirect/direct selling to the customers.
- Provides market intelligence (market trends, competitive information, regulatory issues, product strengths and weaknesses based on customer feedback, etc.) and contributes to the company’s knowledge base. Help to identify product improvements, from your research.
- Performs other duties as required.
Basic Qualifications of the Sales Executive:
- 3+ years’ experience in the sales field in aerospace and defense.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university or college, with a technical science degree preferred.
- Strong analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of company customers and management staff, as well as strong presentation skills.
- Travel up to 20%.
