Position Summary:
This Account Manager role works with employers and brokers to implement reimbursement plans including FSA, HSA, HRA, Commuter and more. They will be the primary point of contact during the implementation and onboarding of new clients. Superior client relationship skills, project management, and excellent communication are critical in maintaining long-term client satisfaction and retention.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer all phases of new client implementation and setup, ongoing client service and training, performing reconciliations and audits as necessary.
- Prepare and distribute plan documents and SPDs
- Process batched claims according to established client schedules
- Respond to client and participant phone calls to resolve escalated issues
- Process renewal information and build new plan years and manage enrollment
- Establish and maintain agent/broker relationships and communication
- Conduct educational webinars on plans as well as other meeting/services as needed
- Prepare forms and educational materials for participants
- Communicate and inform on legislative changes/updates to broker and client community.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to type minimum of 45 words per minute.
- Demonstrated problem solving and conflict management ability
- Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills and resourcefulness
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.
- Must pass any and all background checks
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Office environment
- Full time 40 Hours/week; Monday-Friday – hybrid remote (3 days in office) may be available after completion of introductory period or at a date determined by supervisor
- Need to lift up to 10 pounds, stoop, bend, and walk.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
