Position Summary:
We are seeking a Contingent Workforce Specialist to join our team. This individual will coach, train, and assist hiring managers and vendor suppliers on standard operating procedures. The role involves managing vendor management and applicant tracking systems. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, be detail-oriented, and excel in building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the requisition process for contingent workers within the VNDLY vendor management system.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to fully understand position requirements and effectively communicate these to preferred suppliers.
- Assist hiring managers throughout the selection and onboarding process for contingent workers, and provide ongoing support including timesheet management, performance discussions with suppliers, and handling contingent worker requests.
- Maintain and update all standard operating procedures for contingent workers, suppliers, and hiring managers.
- Manage supplier performance, including candidate quality, through a quarterly scorecard process, performance improvement plans, and supplier optimization.
- Create supplier scorecards, quarterly data reports, and fulfill regular reporting requests using the VNDLY vendor management system.
- Oversee the VNDLY vendor management system ticket management process, addressing issues such as defects and enhancements.
- Resolve escalated issues from contractors, managers, and vendors.
- Stay informed on laws and regulations concerning the contractor workforce.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing materials (print, digital, graphic, and textual) to build brand awareness among internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in the contingent workforce area or equivalent experience.
- Experience within a staffing agency, corporate recruiting environment, or managed service provider.
- Strong communication skills, including speaking, writing, and presenting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work assignments, and priorities with minimal supervision.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and/or vendor management systems.
- Preferred experience with VNDLY and Certified Contingent Workforce Professional (CCWP).
- Strong skills in change management, process management, and negotiation.
- Ability to coach, train, and assist hiring managers and suppliers on standard operating procedures.
- Reporting and metrics-driven approach for data analysis and process improvement.
- Proficiency in the latest versions of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience/Education:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree with no experience, or equivalent work experience.
