Join our dynamic global medical device organization as a Senior Financial Analyst. You will be responsible for accurate and timely financial and management reporting, providing actionable analysis for a business unit.
- Lead, maintain, and enhance financial reporting processes for actuals, forecasts, budgets, and historical results. This involves accessing and integrating information from diverse sources across domestic and international business groups into comprehensive reports and financial summaries within a dynamic systems environment.
- Assist in annual budget and quarterly/monthly forecasts.
- Support internal decision making by performing ad hoc analysis for executive and senior management across the organization as needed.
- Support Business Unit sales and operational analysis tools, including sourcing of BU specific information such as customers, product lines, parts, operating variances, overhead expenses, etc.
- Together with the Corporate Accounting Team, identify and resolve Company's technical accounting issues; provide technical accounting guidance and recommendations to senior management and various business divisions, as documented in Company accounting position papers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business with more than 4+ years experience with a broad business acumen; CPA and/or Masters degree preferred with strong GAAP (and IFRS) knowledge.
- Ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and hands on knowledge of manufacturing systems and link to financial reporting and performance interpretation.
- Ability to develop and implement efficient, user-friendly processes for creating financial plans and analyses that align with strategic objectives.
- Strong documentation skills, reporting skills, interpersonal skills and computer skills are required.
