Client Overview:
A global chemical manufacturer who specializes in the polymer industry.
Role Overview:
Working alongside the US sales team, this role will support the sales expansion within the national market. Assisting go-to-market strategies and working directly with clients and prospects to attract and retain strong, successful and lasting relationships with customers across an array of market segments.
Objective: Achieve annual revenue growth through facilitating and closing new business opportunities, whilst supporting the sales team with identification of new markets.
- Define key markets, customers and products (examples) in consultation with the US sales team.
- Attract, record and manage new leads (internally and externally sourced).
- Conduct cold calls, to meet assigned sales and pricing goals.
- Work closely with the global technical department, communicating customer requirements for development.
- Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the creation and delivery of technical and marketing material.
- Promote, represent and enhance the company reputation (internally and externally).
- Reaching sales/profit and other relevant and agreed KPIs.
- Develop and maintain short- and long-term marketing plans.
- Develop, expand and maintain the sales pipeline.
- Prepare sales and forecasting reports.
Candidate Overview:
The selected candidate will have previous commercial experience, ideally educated with a degree in chemistry, material science or a relatable field. The selected candidate could also be someone with a technical background (scientific) who is looking to work in a commercial position.
