Our client is a NY-based solar energy development company that specializes in providing renewable energy solutions for commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional clients throughout all of the U.S. With a focus on community solar project development, they design, install, and deliver high-quality, high-performance solar systems and farms. Their portfolio includes 200 commercial and industrial PV systems installed in NY and MA, including 500+MW of community solar projects in development and hundreds of MW in the pipeline.
Due to their rapid expansion into new states, they are looking for an Attorney to join their team in Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to solar and/or real estate projects.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Strong understanding of contract law, contract drafting principles, and contract management processes
- Experience in energy regulatory matters, including renewable energy and energy efficiency market dynamics
