Job Description: Environmental Permitting and Planning (EP&P) Project Manager
Position Overview:
- Provide project management and technical support for ecology and environmental permitting projects.
- Responsible for proposing, planning, executing, and managing projects with multidisciplinary teams.
- Requires strong collaboration, project management, and client engagement skills.
- Involves 70% office work and 30% field work, with some travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage environmental projects across mining, energy, and other sectors.
- Prepare proposals, including scoping and pricing.
- Engage with clients and regulatory agencies.
Ideal Candidate:
- Independent thinker and self-starter.
- Effective communicator with strong teamwork and leadership skills.
- Experienced with state and federal regulations and permitting processes.
- Strong technical writing and QA/QC skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecological Science, Environmental Policy, Geology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 6 years of related experience, including 3-4 years of project management.
- Knowledge of Florida’s ecosystems and regulatory environment preferred.
- MSHA New Miner Training certificate and Kleinfelder’s project management qualifications within one year of hire.
