Akkodis is seeking a Network Administrator role for a Direct hire position with one of our clients located in Rome NY. Ideally looking for applicants who have strong experience in switching, routing, network systems, and telecommunication.
Location: Rome NY (Hybrid)
Duration: Full-time/ Direct hire
Rate: $80-89k/yr.+ benefits
Job Description:
Education: B.S. Degree in computer science, telecommunications, or related degree. Cisco Certified Network Associate or Cisco Certified Network Professional certificate strongly preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience: 5 to 8 years of networking experience with at least 3-5 years’ experience with switching, routing, network systems, and telecommunications preferred. Experienced in switching and routing hardware in a Cisco environment. Experienced in managing next-gen Firewall & IPS. Experienced in Meraki management. Experience with network technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools. Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
