We are looking to hire a Plumbing Designer to join our growing team based out of San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design of water, gas, sanitary/sewer, and storm systems. This position will allow you to work on a variety of projects within the lab, healthcare, education, and commercial industries.
Responsibilities:
- Design water, gas, sanitary/sewer, and storm plumbing systems.
- Complete engineering calculations.
- Develop detailed and accurate construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software.
- Assist in the construction administration process by reviewing submittals and shop drawings, responding to RFIs and change orders.
- Perform site evaluations and surveys as needed.
- Coordinate effectively with other disciplines, vendors, contractors, and clients.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of plumbing design experience required. Experience working on commercial, education, or mission critical projects a plus.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD required.
- Experience in fire protection design a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field a plus but not required.
- EIT/PE license a plus but not required.
