Incredible HR and Safety Coordinator opportunity available in a manufacturing organization located in Laurel, MD! You will be responsible for implementing HR processes, providing recruiting support, and assisting with safety compliance. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that will allow individuals to develop new skills and add value to the company.
Location: Laurel, MD
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Pay: $55k-$65k/annually based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees, ensuring all necessary training and documentation are completed.
- Provide administrative support for employee relations, benefits administration, and maintain compliance with HR documentation and policies.
- Develop, implement, and review safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety laws and regulations.
- Advise employees on safety practices, conduct regular safety training and webinars, and identify opportunities to minimize workplace injuries and accidents.
- Manage workers' compensation claims, conduct root cause analyses of incidents, and collaborate with HR to integrate safety into the onboarding process.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or related education, preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- MS Office and HRIS knowledge, preferred.
