We are seeking an Engineering & Quality Manager to lead our engineering and quality teams. This role offers a dynamic environment focused on automotive components, where you will drive engineering excellence and implement robust quality systems, while managing teams.
Must Haves:
- Extensive experience with engine components, such as cylinder liners, pistons, and metal automotive ICE components.
- Proven experience in managing people and teams, including direct supervision of reports.
- Background in automotive tier 1 or tier 2 manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred
- Experience in quality management, mechanical engineering, or a related manufacturing role
- Experience with quality management systems & standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, more
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Solid experience in quality management and mechanical/product engineering within a manufacturing setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of quality systems and industry standards.
- Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and lean methodologies.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with effective communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Guide and mentor the engineering team to uphold high standards and best practices.
- Stay current with engineering advancements and provide strategic direction for technical growth.
- Collaborate with teams to develop innovative solutions for complex challenges.
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring budget and schedule adherence.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and ensure successful project outcomes.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
