Responsibilities:
- Establish and develop site operation specific health and safety programs as needed and drive implementation
- Champion efforts to foster a safety culture and employee engagement consistent with company policies, and facilitate site safety teams
- Perform operations hazard assessments, recommend corrective actions
- Train personnel including all mandatory OSHA compliance training, 1st aid responders and necessary operational hazard specific training
- Lead injury management, conduct claims investigations and evaluate WC claims, identify and recommend preventative measures and corrective actions
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety
At least 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
MUST SPEAK ENGLISH AND SPANISH
OSHA Certification/Licenses/Registrations: ASP or CSP highly preferred!
