We are looking for a Superintendent in South Carolina that has experience with ground up commercial, light industrial, or manufacturing projects. Our client is an established commercial general contractor that is headquartered in South Carolina and a strong pipeline of projects coming up throughout the state.
Title: Superintendent
Start Date: Flexible, but the sooner the better
Location: South Carolina - Travel throughout the state required
Pay Range: Depends on experience, but a rough range for the base is $90-120k
Market Sector: Commercial & Industrial Construction
*Prior experience as a Superintendent for a General Contractor is required*
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs
- Set performance goals and deadlines
- Plan construction processes
- Estimate costs and ensure the project is on budget
- Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback
- Monitor and report on project progress
- Various other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years' experience managing ground up construction projects
- Experience running ground up projects from start until finish
- Proficient with Procore and Microsoft Office
- Driver's License and good driving record
