TIELLO has partnered with a highly successful Commercial General Contractor in Northern Orange County / Southern Los Angeles on their search for a Superintendent (Retail, Dealership, Commercial Office) to work on both Ground-Up Construction Projects ranging in value up to $25 M.
The Construction Superintendent will oversee the construction of the project in the field, providing leadership to field crews and subcontractors, ensuring the successful on-time completion of the project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Able to perform all essential Superintendent job responsibilities
- Oversee daily operation of construction projects
- Attend and participate in Safety Training Program and enforce safety procedures
- Prepare and maintain responsibility for job schedule
- Develop Owner, Architect, and other Contractors' confidence and attend meetings as required
- Review all drawings, specifications, and submittals
- Chair and/or attend ongoing Contractor meetings
- Assure work quality - set standards for quality control
- Order materials and tools and plan supply allotment to maintain schedule
- Prepare necessary reports (e.g. timesheets, work orders, daily reports, and invoice approval)
- Document and complete all punch lists in a timely manner
- Organize, train, direct, and coordinate field construction team including those of other contractors
- Perform start-up testing and turnover to clientele
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of experience as a Superintendent
- Experience leading and supervising Ground-Up Retail, Commercial, Office projects
- Scheduling, RFI's, Change Orders, Submittals Experience
- Strong work ethic, team player with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical, and sound judgment skills
