Job Mission
The Sr. Electronics Design Engineer provides expertise to deliver electronic and electrical designs throughout the entire development process. Conceptional design through detail design, prototypes through volume manufacturing, initial integration through qualification. You will collaborate with a multidisciplined project team on the electrical infrastructure, perform engineering analysis, generate detailed electronic designs, create engineering drawings/documents and partner with suppliers. The position requires highly motivated, extremely organized and self-driven individuals.
This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). As a condition of employment, qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Job Description
The Sr. Electronics Design Engineer will work with a team of specialists who will be responsible for developing, testing, and supporting electronics boards or sub-systems. The engineer will define electrical and test requirements, design circuits and test equipment.
Specify & design all aspects of electronic development:
• Analog, Digital and Programmable Logic Circuit Design
• Schematic Capture
• AC and DC Power Distribution Systems
• Interconnect Cables and Harnessing
• Electronic Racks, Cabinets, Boxes and Control Consoles
• Printed Circuit Boards – PCB Signal and Power Integrity
• Test & Troubleshoot Electronic Systems to Component Level
• Testing Validation and Verification (V&V) of Requirements
• Write Technical Documents, Specifications, Test Procedures, Test Reports
Experience
Minimum qualifications – the hired candidate must possess all of the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for the position including:
• BS Engineering with a major in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years relevant design experience
• Multiple years’ experience as designer of electronic functions and sub-systems, including experience with working in multidisciplinary design teams to establish agreement on specifications.
• Requires experience in one or more of the following technical skills:
Digital Design
Design of digital data acquisition system
VHDL embedded code for FPGA logic
A/D and or D/A
Testing Validation and Verification (V&V) of requirements
Analog Design
Low noise analog interface for sensor application; photonics sensors
Power amplifier design (motors / actuators)
Capacitance gauge, LVDT interface design
A/D and or D/A
Testing Validation and Verification (V&V) of requirements
High Voltage (>1KV)
Test Equipment Design
Development of test equipment and test procedures to test and qualify analog and digital circuit boards or electronics racks
Implementation of data acquisition hardware / software
Experienced in LabView
Hands-on working knowledge and experience with:
Electronic Design Automation
E-CAD (preferably Mentor Graphics xDX/xPCB Designer)
Circuit Simulation Tools (i.e. PSpice or other)
Electronic Laboratory Equipment
MATLAB or similar modeling software

• This position is located on-site in Wilton, CT. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.

Essential Job Functions
The essential job functions for this position include, but are not limited to:
• Work in a fast-paced office environment, including working in a standing or seated position for long periods of up to 12 hours per day, 5 days per week.
• Commute to ASML’s facility and report to work on a regular and timely basis and complete the scheduled workday on a consistent basis.
