Major, established, global, and leading company has an opportunity for a Chemical Production Engineer due to an upcoming retirement. In this direct hire role with position located in northern WV near Parkersburg and Marietta, OH will be responsible to monitor, develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. Will propose, organize, and implement work to complete projects and achieve group and individual objectives.

Responsibilities
- Detect problems and situations that require deviation from normal procedures and implement corrective actions.
- Interpret and/or analyze data, and draw conclusions based on the data.
- Develops Standard Operating Procedures, daily instructions and other written communications.
- Interpret and/or analyze data, and draw conclusions based on the data. Including standard operating conditions as well as historical and trended data.
- Process Hazards Analyzes (PHA).
Required skills and experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in chemical manufacturing or petrol/refinement.
- Batch/Semi continuous operation with distillation experience is a plus.
- Resins / Coating experience a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
OR
- 10 years' experience in a chemical plant environment.
