Rapidly growing company is seeking an experienced Production Operator skilled in manufacturing on a production line. This is a growth opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a startup South Carolina facility. The on-site position is located east of Greenville SC. The shift will be rotating between first and second. Excellent compensation and benefits with full company paid medical coverage for the employee, and 401k with company match.
Responsibilities
- Operate ink mixers and filling machines
- Ensure the proper production of water-based inks in accordance with customer specifications
- Examine job orders and monitor quality/QC Lab work
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
- Service, and repair of manufacturing equipment and preventative maintenance
- Meet or exceed production targets
Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred
- At least 2 years' hands-on production manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of printing inks, polymers, adhesives, or chemicals/chemical manufacturing preferred and experience with inkjet, flexo, offset, gravure, or screen inks a plus
- Electrical and mechanical skills
- Strong color visual acuity, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Fluent with Microsoft Office
- Ability to commute daily to the Spartanburg SC area
- Ability to work a rotating 1st, 2nd shift
