Job Title: Senior Power Platform Developer
Location: Houston, Texas
Duration: 6+ months
Primary Job Responsibilities:
· Create custom solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
· Implement and maintain Power Platform solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements.
· Ensure solutions are secure and maintainable.
· Work with other IT organizations and the Citizen Development Program to ensure quality support and delivery to the end-user.
· Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
· Provide leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
· Perform system configurations, defining fields, views, and forms to meet the defined requirements.
· Conduct thorough testing and debugging of solutions to ensure high-quality deliverables.
· Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.
Basic Requirements:
· Strong experience with Power Platform tools and SharePoint Online
· Ability to solve complex problems and provide innovative solutions.
· Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
· Familiarity with agile development methodologies and sprint planning.
· Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor junior and citizen developers.
· Experience with common data service, data connectors, and APIs.
· Knowledge of additional programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Preferred Requirements:
· Experience: 10+ years of experience in developing solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform including mobile and offline capabilities.
· Certifications: Relevant certifications in Power Platform.
· Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Experience with cloud-native technologies.
· Experience in conducting code reviews.
· Experience working with virtual teams.
· Experience with other low-code platforms like Mendix.
· Experience with Full Stack programming Ex: .Net.
· Basic knowledge of single sign-on technologies
· Ability to provide and review estimates; Agile estimation and planning strongly preferred.
· Ability to create and review technical designs.
· Ability to quickly learn and analyze business processes, working closely with users, business analysts and project managers.
· Ability to plan and execute responsibilities with minimal direction.
· Ability to manage various tasks and prioritize effectively in fast-paced environment supporting internal and external customers.
· Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments.
· Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals.
· Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical.
