About the Job
As the Procurement Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the
successful delivery of data center projects. Your responsibilities will
encompass a broad spectrum of procurement and supply chain management tasks,
with a focus on optimizing cost, availability, and operational efficiency for
critical data center equipment and materials.
Responsibilities
·Develop and maintain a Procurement Program to support the mission critical market
·Strategically develop and implement commodity/supply chain strategies covering all
commodities, services, and supplier processes to maximize value, leverage, and
standardization
·Establish and maintain purchasing best practices and procedures, including RFP processes,
bid leveling, and purchase order requirements
·Develop and negotiate commercial terms for vendor Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
·Determine and collect data to execute and govern programs, maintaining project trackers
and status reports
·Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, manage their expectations, and
provide insights
·Establish supply plans to position materials in alignment with demand while meeting
financial objectives
·Develop and justify inventory buffer strategies to optimize cost and flexibility
·Partner with cross-functional teams to procure materials and ensure availability to
fulfill customer needs
·Negotiate long-term national contracts to support multi-site procurement initiatives
·Establish and manage an Inventory Management Program to ensure the necessary equipment
and materials are available to support customer SLAs
·Implement and maintain a Vendor Management Program, including a Vendor screening process
and Vendor performance reviews
Qualifications
·Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a relevant field
·1-5 years of experience in supply chain, materials, or inventory management; or
data center program or project management is preferred
Skills
·Knowledge of Construction Materials & Data Centers
·Experience in interacting with diverse technical and non-technical groups across all
organizational levels
·Mastery of Microsoft Excel; Proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs (Word and
PowerPoint)
