Working independently and requiring the regular use of independent judgment, the primary focus of the HR Analyst role is the assessment, planning, implementation, evolution and support of al HR application and automated workflow processes. This role serves as technical point-of-contact and subject matter expert for all HR related systems, including ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for HR business processes that drive the day-to-day responsibilities.
The HR analyst also collects, compiles, and analyzes HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to retention, recruitment, and compliance.
Desired Education or Certifications Criteria
- Highschool diploma and three years of HRIS, Payroll or HR Generalist experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Experience with ADP HRIS system preferred.
- High level of Excel proficiency required.
Responsibilities / Functional Job Description
- Focus on manual process elimination in the HR workflow. Where processes cannot be automated, strives for process improvement and greater efficiency.
- Ensures all HRIS processes and workflows are accurately documented.
- Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS), management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, and other sources.
- Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to HR leadership.
- Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations, and develops solutions, programs and policies to improve HR’s contribution to the organization’s goals and legal compliance.
- Completes compliance related activities such as annual EEO-1 and UDS reporting, the set up and tracking of performance reviews, etc.
- May conduct or assist with conducting classification audits to ensure that jobs are properly classified as exempt or nonexempt.
- Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Collaborates and aligns business requirements with HR systems including working cross-functionally with other teams such as Finance and IT.
- Effectively trains end users in use of HR related software applications.
- May assist with performance, benefit, and compensation review and evaluation processes.
- Maintain a high level of business acumen about healthcare operations and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) organizations.
- Participates in special projects for HR as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
