THE ROLE– Vice President, Paid Social
In this capacity, you will work across multiple high-profile entertainment accounts and play a critical role in shaping the future of our paid social media strategy. You will focus on long-term, holistic social media strategies rather than campaign-specific tactics while simultaneously leveraging emerging trends and technologies to position your clients at the forefront of the social media landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and drive the overall paid social media strategy for entertainment network accounts.
- Identify and leverage emerging trends and technologies to position our clients at the forefront of the social media landscape.
- Continuously evaluate and refine paid social strategies to ensure alignment with industry advancements and client objectives.
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to maximize the effectiveness and ROI of paid social campaigns.
- Serve as a thought leader both internally and externally, sharing insights and expertise on the future of paid social media.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and forums, showcasing their innovative approach and thought leadership.
- Produce thought-provoking content such as white papers, articles, and presentations to elevate the agency's profile in the industry.
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the agency by encouraging creative thinking and collaboration.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and executives to align social media strategies with broader business goals.
- Influence and guide the direction of paid social initiatives across the agency.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate paid social strategies with overall marketing plans.
- Act as a mentor and advisor to junior team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience working within the entertainment industry, understanding its unique dynamics and requirements.
- Familiarity with the specific challenges and opportunities in marketing entertainment brands.
- Previous experience within a digital agency environment is strongly preferred, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative setting.
- Strong understanding of agency processes and the ability to navigate complex client relationships.
- Deep expertise in paid social media, with a strong track record of developing and executing successful strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, advertising formats, and best practices.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform strategy and optimize performance.
- Demonstrated thought leadership experience, including speaking engagements, published articles, or similar contributions to the industry.
- Ability to articulate and communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
