The primary goal of the Windows Migration Scheduler is to queue up user migrations at multiple sites to feed migration work to the Migration Technicians. This will ensure that the Migration Technicians have ample work queued up before the start of each workday. The Scheduler will work with the Site Leads at all locations to plan and schedule migrations. The Scheduler will be responsible for communicating directly with users to qualify and schedule their migrations.
The Scheduler will help track overall migration and prepare status reports.
Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or similar field or equivalent experience.
- Proactive and can work with minimal supervision
- Proficient in project management concepts and implementing them as needed
- Excellent knowledge of using project management tools -digital and written
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Experience with IT Service Management software such as ServiceNow or Remedy; familiarity with ITIL processes is a plus
- Able to interpret and follow technical documentation
- Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
