This opportunity is for a Project Manager position in Ohio. You will need general construction experience for this role. Managing and planning projects.
Support Responsibilities:
- Effective Communication: Maintain clear and impactful communication with owners, architects, partners, and team members.
- Timely Execution: Ensure timely documentation and action on RFIs, submittals, cost changes, schedule adjustments, meetings, and other related tasks.
- Client and Project Understanding: Familiarize yourself with client and project requirements. Develop and manage construction schedules, coordinate MEP and BIM plans, and liaise with accounting, design, and estimating teams.
- Cost Management and Efficiency: Draft subcontracts and purchase orders. Update cost and expediting schedules, monitor cost variations, and apply creative problem-solving to explore solutions and alternatives.
- Project Close-Out and Commissioning: Achieve the zero-punch list goal. Maintain accurate records, prepare and deliver close-out materials to the owner before occupancy.
- Brand Representation: Uphold positive reputation in the construction industry by embodying our values of trust, honesty, fairness, integrity, compassion, and team appreciation in every interaction.
Experience and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in building construction management, civil engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to organize and manage time effectively.
- Leadership and Communication: Lead by example with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive Approach: Anticipate needs, take initiative, and address issues proactively.
