This post is only for Law School JD students (part-time), graduates (full-time), pending bar admits (full-time), and recently admitted attorneys (full-time).
This position (academic credit (P/T) or stipend compensation available (F/T)) is available with a leading litigation boutique law firm located in Brooklyn near to public transportation. There is potential for longer term growth with this position.
Areas of practice include litigation, intellectual property, real property, and contracts; substantive experience is a plus. Responsibilities include legal research, brief writing, IP drafting, client intake, court filings, court attendance, and performance of general clerical functions incidental to the practice of law. Graduate fellows in our fellowship program are required to commit for a minimum of 1 year. Do not apply if you cannot commit to this minimum time period.
In addition to learning the practice of law, you will have fun! We work hard and play hard, so it's important that you are similarly collegiate. Please be ready to learn, professional, punctual, smart, wise, well-spoken, well-written, hard-working, and humorous.
This will be a great learning experience for the right candidate who is interested in learning the ins and outs of law firm practice. To apply, one must forward a resume, writing sample (max. 6 pages), law transcript, and cover letter. In your cover letter, be sure to include mandatory details of your substantive, legal experience, and whether you are available to work on-site, as needed.
Thanks and we look forward to working with you.
