Job Description
As the Project Manager, your primary responsibility is to meticulously plan, execute, and successfully conclude projects in line with customer expectations and financial parameters. This pivotal role involves orchestrating the collaboration of various teams including engineers, production, service, purchasing, and accounting, to ensure seamless project delivery. Leveraging the company's advanced project management tools, you will define project scopes, and objectives, and meticulously maintain them throughout the project lifecycle. Continuous communication and updates to customers through traditional channels like phone and email, as well as face-to-face meetings, are essential components of this role. Additionally, you'll interface with internal departments and customer-focused teams to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Ideal candidates will possess robust project management expertise, preferably within the packaging industry.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
- Exercise diligent control over project budgets to achieve financial targets.
- Define and manage project scope, maintaining comprehensive order summaries.
- Proactively manage and exceed customer expectations throughout the project.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external sales teams to drive project success.
- Provide strategic direction to purchasing teams regarding ancillary equipment procurement.
- Implement and maintain systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency with 3-5 years of experience in project management.
- Preferably possess knowledge of the packaging industry.
