Role Overview:
As an HR Shared Services Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to employees across various departments. This role requires a mix of customer service excellence, systems proficiency, and a solid understanding of basic HR practices. You'll be part of a team helping the organization transition to a new HR system, so adaptability and a willingness to learn are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to HR-related questions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Use systems like Outlook, WebEx, and Oracle (experience in these systems is a plus) to manage communications and resolve inquiries.
- Demonstrate empathy when handling employee concerns, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
- Apply basic HR knowledge to provide accurate information and support across various HR functions.
- Stay organized and maintain attention to detail, especially when managing multiple requests and inquiries.
- Adapt quickly to changes, particularly with the upcoming system transition before the new year.
- Communicate effectively with employees and team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Work independently while also contributing to the team's overall goals and performance.
- Leverage call center experience (preferred) to navigate high-volume environments efficiently.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Strong customer service abilities with a focus on helping others.
- Experience using systems like Outlook, WebEx, and Oracle.

- Knowledge of basic HR practices and principles.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Prior experience in a call center or similar customer service role is highly beneficial.
