As our Operational Excellence Leader, you will be responsible for leading and driving the Lean & Six Sigma transformation enterprise across the organization, leveraging your expertise to optimize Business & Manufacturing processes and nurture a culture of continuous improvement. This pivotal role demands strong leadership and strategic vision, influencing change across all organizational levels. Heavily hands on requirement to implement the change culture at the lowest and highest levels.
What you'll do:
- Lead the development and implementation of Lean strategies and initiatives of Standards.
- Coach and mentor plant managers, engineers, and project teams, aligning with Lean principles and methodologies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define Lean objectives, performance metrics and monitor progress towards organizational goals.
- Conduct assessments and audits to identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans to drive operational excellence.
- Facilitate Lean training sessions and workshops to foster continuous learning and improvement.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and communication to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Serve as a Lean subject matter expert, promoting Lean principles and practices, overcoming resistance to change and guiding teams to identify and eliminate waste, improve processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Identify areas of waste, develop and lead projects using techniques such as: Lean Methodology and Six Sigma Principles. The ideal candidate will be skilled in applying these techniques across the enterprise (Manufacturing, Engineering, Project/Program Management, Human Resources, Legal, Finance, Quality, and Procurement organizations).
- Drive speed, quality, and simplification of processes.
- Lead large initiatives, coordinating the work of internal teams. Responsibilities include program scoping, design, data collection, site visits, data analysis, and proposal of new standards.
- Work across the company to deliver results, and then communicate the results to executive management.
- Engage fully and deep dive into processes, highlight variation and identify corresponding root causes to define “best in class” for standard process adoption and standardization.
- With the leadership team, partner to understand the current site business objectives and financial targets, develop a vision for the site's future operational/growth needs and implement a plan to achieve those outcomes.
- Provide subject matter expertise across the organization by partnering with functional, business and site leaders to assess current processes and identify process/performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
What you'll need:
- Demonstrated Success coaching and leading a team.
- Strong 'hands-on' leadership and communication skills.
- Deep understanding and technical expertise in Lean and Six Sigma DMAIC and other industry standard methodologies for continuous improvements.
- Proven track record of leading and facilitating successful Lean transformations in fast-paced, large organizations.
- Experience in Development and Production improvements, preferably in molding and assembly processes in a contract manufacturing environment.

- Project planning and successful execution of projects to cost and schedule targets.
- Lean & Six Sigma Deployment Experience in changing people/culture and process.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to deliver data-driven solutions and measure the impact of Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
Education, Certificates & or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or other relevant technical or business field OR
minimum 10 years’ experience in lean management, process improvement or Operational
Excellence.

- Six Sigma Certification
